Step By Step Guide for my ‘New Elizabethan’ Hair Design
- Start by sectioning the hair at the crown for the padding to be placed, once sectioned begin to create an anchor French braid.
- Pin the anchor plait down and make sure it’s secure once this done, begin to secure the padding into the anchor.
- With the remaining hair at the front of the padding begin back comb until hair is standing up straight up.
- Leave out two thick sections on the side near the ears and French braid these two sections.
- Once the front part is back combed enough smooth this over to create a dramatic bouffant and pin in place, with the two French braids on the sides of the head pin these to hide the pins holding the bouffant in place.
- With the remaining hair left start from the bottom and crimp the hair working your way up making sure to use small sections in order for the hair to be very big and messy.
- Once you’ve nearly got the top near the top where the bouffant is pinned in place, begin to using the frizzing technique.
- Once finished with frizzing begin to brush out the crimped hair and frizzed hair as this will create texture and volume.
- To make sure it sticks out on the sides use a pin to fold over the front parts of the hair as this will help to make the hair stick out.
- Using pearls to decorate the design begin to place them next to each other all around the front part of the head.
