Using Padding to create an Elizabethan Hairstyle

I used the technique I'd learnt in my previous lesson on padding and incorporated it into an Elizabethan Hairstyle. Initial I was just going to curl the front using the pin curl technique and crimp the rest of the hair into a high bouffant, however I went slightly into a different direction. I start by crimping the hair completely and created a heart shape at the back using padding then with the remaining hair I decided to incorporate into the heart shape at the back, I wanted the middle parting to stand out. With the hair at the front I was just going to leave it curl and pull the curls onto the heart shape however I decided last minute to crimp the hair and create two separate smaller bouffants this create a double heart shape hair style. I really enjoyed creating this and I'm thinking about using aspects of this in my final project as I think it's slightly different however I need to think of something to make it contemporary too. I also need to think about making sure all the hair is tighly secure so it all stays up.
